The effect obtained is repellency and reduction of liquid water absorption, maintaining substrate's ability to breathe and exchange water vapor, with no blockage of the surface. This effect is important to avoid cracks and surface defects that can lead to a reduction in the repellency of the film.\r\n\r\nProducts are simple to apply, versatile, and can be diluted with solvent or water depending on their composition. In addition, they have excellent weather resistance, as not subject to degradation by exposure to UV radiation.\r\n\r\nIn addition to silane-siloxane based products, Athon has in its portfolio special formulations that promote a repellency effect associated with ease of cleaning and durability.
